Alfie was purchased for 1,800 gns at Ross sale, after being Champion at Three Counties Show.  Sired by Stragglethorpe Winston, a ram we knew a great deal about.  We were impressed by Alfie's power and skin, and his progeny display his own deep body and possess all the desired breed type.

 

 

 

 

 

Jointly purchased for 2,300 gns at Ruthin.  Cracker was selected for use on Alfie daughters.  We hoped he would pass on his great length and frame and flat flintly bone to his offspring, this he has done along with true type, style and quality.

 

 

 

 

 

 

A yearling by Alfie, who displays true type Lleyn characteristics.  He was shown at the Royal Welsh Show, where he was placed 6th in a strong class of yearling rams.
