Commercial Rams for Sale
Currently available on farm are a wide selection of grass fed shearling rams, these are all in the top 50% of the breed for terminal sire index. Many being in the top 25% and top 10% of the breed respectively. It is now widely recognised that rams with superior gentics for performance can have a major economic benefit in prime lamb production. The figures often quoted range from £2-£3 extra per lamb for the progeny of these top sires. Therefore, we stongly recommend a close inspection of our rams and their figures and we feel confident that they will improve your returns and your bottom line. Another advantage of using performance figures and estimated breeding values is that it enables us to tailor rams for specific purposes. We now have a growing list of satisfied customers who have seen the benefits of using performance recorded rams over a number of years and comment on the improved growth rate and overall quality of their lamb crops.

Females for Sale
This autumn we will have for sale a top quality selection of Charollais females. We intend to support 2 sales, the Worcester Saucy Sale on 3 October at Worcester Market and Eastern Region Female Sale on 31 October at Bakewell Market. We intend to consign some of our very best females to these sales including the current Royal Show Champion - PE 8114 Dalby Izzy to the Saucy Sale, also at this venue, we hope to have flock ewes and shearling ewes in-lamb to some of the breeds top rams. The majority of these will be either sired by, or in-lamb to Rockvilla Golden Promise, who is developing into one of the breeds great rams(for further information see magnificant males).
Also available on farm will be a selection of in-lamb ewes or ewes to tup later in the autumn at prices to suit all pockets.
