Out and About


	A few photos from RWAS 2008 highlighting the success of Rockvilla Golden Promise - Royal Welsh Champion of Champions 2008 Also shown, 10 year old Victoria Sercombe winner of the Junior Section of the Sheep Young Handler competition with her ewe lamb Dalby Inky Winky.

We ventured down to the Royal Bath and West Show with both the Charollais and the Lleyns. Here we had 1st Shearling Ewe with PE 6044 - Dalby Gertrude and 1st Ewe with PE 5252 - Dalby Felicity. We also achieved a number of prizes with the Lleyns including 2nd prize Shearling Ram with 6012/1128 and 2nd prize group of three.
Then to better weather at the Rutland Show where Rockvilla Golden Promise - VV 6049 produced the goods and was Breed and Interbreed Champion on his first outing of the season. We also have wins again with PE 5252 in the ewe class and a son of Dalby Ferrari won the ram lamb class.

July returned to the wet weather, however it managed to keep dry for the judging of the Royal Show. Where not only the weather was shinning but so was Rockvilla Golden Promise who won the Shearling Ram class and went on to be the overall Charollais Breed Champion.
